Running

I am a Qualified Running Coach through England Athletics as a “LiRF”- Leadership in Running Fitness and being a British Triathlon Federation Level Two Triathlon Coach.

I currently lead a number of runs from Woodford Park in Woodley and also I am a coach at Reading Roadrunners. However, I am happy to meet customers locally to run with them.

With Lockdown easing I commenced 2 new Couch to 5K, nine week programs on Monday 19th April. These will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with class 1 being at 9:15am and class 2 at 7pm see details below.

I’m currently offering running fitness improvement coaching, starting from Woodford Park, Woodley on a Thursday evening, at 5:30pm. All new joiners are welcome. Generally we will do a mixture of intervals, fartlek, hill climbs, timed runs and replays. Some weeks we my leave the park for a nice outrun. Anyone, looking to improve their, fitness, speed, and running technique should attend. We like to work hard but have fun too.

Top left, Rory who I’m working with for swimming, fitness plan, running and PT, then my two April 2021 Couch to 5K groups. Then Amelia, who had just run a half marathon after starting with me 6 months before doing couch to 5K. PT sessions, running and bootcamp had all helped her see significant performance gains.

Then below, my first Couch to 5K Group, having fun and celebrating an evenings successful and rewarding running and Simone who started running in the couch to 5K group in July 2020 and then continued running with me and recently celebrated completing a 10 mile run, in March 2021.
