I am qualified to coach :- personal training, bootcamps, open water swimming, triathlon (including swimming, biking and running) and angling. As an experienced professional and passionate athlete I have lots that I can offer and share with clients to help them on their fitness and sporting journeys.
The advantage of working with me is I can offer clients a more wholistic solution drawing on the different areas that I can coach.
For example, I have a current client who has a 10K river swim booked for later in the year and a 10K running race. Whilst we are in lockdown I am able to provide a solution by building them a fitness plan using TrainingPeaks, where they are working on swim resistance band exercises, coupled with some cardio, some planned running sessions and a weekly PT session and run session with me.
In the PT sessions we have been working on core conditioning and also the upper body, with some resistance exercises. In a few weeks time when lockdown eases and pools and lakes re-open, we will incorporate some coached swim sessions into the weekly, monthly fitness plan.
After 3 months the client is really feeling the benefits of the fitness plan, feeling fitter and stronger which has translated to increased speed, endurance and distance, when running.
So for any client I work with, I can build a fitness plan and can knit together PT sessions, bootcamp sessions, zoom fitness, swimming, biking, running and offer advice on nutrition, or any combination of the above, or just one discipline on it’s own.
