1st April Run Home

As an April Fool I chose to run home from work on a Friday night of a demanding week at work instead of running fresh on the weekend. It was a very difficult run and I think many things were wrong. Too many weeks of long runs, new shoes, it was hot, I was tired and drained, no dietary preparation and no race or running partner. The 12.5 miles were really hard going and when I finally reached home I was relieved.
