After a couple of days recovery after the Reading Half, when my left knee and the bridge of my left foot hurt; it was off to join up as a member of the Reading Roadrunners and training.
I was nice as it was my third week and people were more friendly and I felt I fitted in better.
We did an interval training routine called “Whistling Rufus”. This was good for me and saw us briskly jog around the track in a line and everytime Tom blew the whistle, the person at the back of the pack had to sprint to the front of the pack and then rejoin at the brisk pace.
A good training session.
